Rama Creamy Pap

Ingredients
  • 480 ml (300 g) Maize Meal
  • 6 ml (8 g) Salt
  • 1l Boiling Water
  • 300 ml Room Temperature Water
  • 10 g Rama Original 
Method
  1. Add boiling water to pot along with the salt and bring to a rapid boil with lid on.
  2. Once water boils, make a slurry with your maize meal and add 300 ml cold water.
  3. Pour slurry into the boiling water and mix thoroughly to prevent lumping.
  4. When mixture starts to bubble and all pap is fully dissolved with water, place lid on the pot and reduce the heat to low.
  5. Stir regularly and allow pap to cook.
  6. Once cooked, turn the stove off and remove pot from stove.
  7. Using a plastic spoon, scoop Rama into pot and mix it together using a folding motion until all the margarine is incorporated into the pap.
