Food for a healthy, happy learner.
Depending on what your kid eats at school, their concentration levels after lunch time will either improve or wane. Their mind may become tired and in need of some well-deserved snacks to refuel their body. But, what do you feed them?
Here are three great meals to prepare your kids for school, to help them concentrate all day.
A wholegrain sandwich with Rama spread, a mashed hard-boiled egg and quartered cherry tomatoes is without doubt the lunch of champions. Full of protein, essential fats, vitamins and flavour, it also has the energy kids need to focus for the rest of the day.
Chicken is a great lunch meat. Not too heavy, not too light, and full of energy. To make sure your child enjoys a delicious chicken lunch, make a chicken salad and add 2 slices of bread with Rama spread so that they can assemble a sandwich if need be.
Wholegrain crackers are always a great addition to a child’s lunch box. They go well with almost anything, from humus (or yogurt) to a sliced banana, baby carrots and maybe a little chicken mayonnaise.
